QKE8J is a 5-speed sequential gearkit for the EP3 and FN2 versions of the Honda Civic Type R as well as the DC5 Integra / RSX. Ideally suited to circuit racing, drag racing and rally use it’s designed as a direct replacement for the standard six-speed H-pattern Honda transmission.
The EP3 is of course the second Civic Type R generation produced, based upon the 7th gen Civic. The EP3 Type R boasts the legendary K20A2 powerplant under the bonnet, along with a perfectly suited and well-balanced chassis to suit. Based on the seventh-generation Civic, the EP3 was the first Type R to be officially offered for sale by Honda in the UK, and was assembled at its Swindon facility. This example is a later version of the EP3, which benefits from numerous improvements introduced in 2003.
