I've seen DOHC chains last 300k miles. I've seen them last 70k with abuse. There is no replacement interval. K24's are notorious for high oil consumption, especially manual trans cars. Honda considers 1 quart every 1000 miles as "normal". Consider a 4-5k OCI and you're physically out of oil before you change your oil.
